In the framework of an international collaborative project COLLECTIVE DOMAIN OF CULTURAL MEMORY, the Motel Trogir Artist in Residence Program is hosting Tilmann Meyer- Faje, who will be staying in Split and Trogir from October 11th-15th. This residence is conceived in two parts, the first being a study visit and the second focused on art production of a new, site-specific work.


Tilmann Meyer-Faje born 1971 in Germany, works and lives in Amsterdam.
There he studied at  Gerrit Rietveld Academie and Sandberg Institute. He focuses on the failure of utopian urban dreams. Beside his interventions to Dutch city plans from the 60’s and 70’s he is working with the industrialized urbanisation of the Soviet Union.
